A painter « et caetera … » Under this laconic pseudonym hides indeed a complete and colorful artist: Louis-Laurent CARPENTIER was born under the sign of pencil, October 4, 1968 in Brussels. He followed artistic humanities at the Institut St-Luc, and completed his training at La Cambre and evening classes at L’Académine de Saint-Gilles. Subsequently, he became a specialist in computer color matching, collaborating on numerous series of successful comics: Agent 212, Cupid, Poje’s side, Ball Zero etc … In 1994, he creates « Lulu and Berlu », whose absurd adventures in the form of strips are combined in an album published by Topgame. He makes countless illustrations, logos, websites, posters, leaflets … Not content to color the lives of others, In 2002, along with his job of illustrator – graphic designer, He decides to embark on painting. It is useless, considering the course of Laurent…, to wonder why his paintings are bathed in a colored universe, absurd, and populated by fabulous animals. It is a pure, realistic and almost scientific representation of the fantastic environment that makes its day. Moreover, it is with a disconcerting freshness and naturalness that he describes to us not without irony the world as it really is, but such that we are not (or more) capable of considering it. Fabrizio Sarti (Sea creative) was born in 1977 in Varese, where in the early nineties he starts expressing his creativity by painting the city walls and soon becomes known as Sea. Becoming a more mature artist, Sea is inspired by art pieces by Barry McGee and Phil Frost, and as a consequence he starts using paint brushes and acrylic colours instead of sprays. His style evolves too, influenced by his graphic design studies and his agency experience. In 2000, he creates the Sea Creative project, where his street art experience is taken to a more traditional level, using enamels, acrylics and inks. Apart from various exhibitions and live performances both in Italy and abroad, Sea works with several agencies, dealing with “street wear” and design. He currently paints and shows his characters to the world not only via the conventional networks, but also in abandoned industrial sites, where street art leaves the streets and walls and meets industrial archaeology with its exciting spaces full of history. Sea has his own, defined style: linear, but detailed in a chaotic universe where odd characters make the visitor curious. A style that goes beyond real imagery to stretch to graphic and chromatic experimentation. His characters rise from a flat background where the words stop being meaningful in order to become decorative elements. A microcosm populated by characters that don’t belong anywhere; astonished, amazed, absent-minded expressions belonging to the artist’s imagination, that revisits examples from reality, leaving the audience with several interpretations. Sea Creative lives and works between Milan and Varese, where he creates art pieces for national and international exhibitions and also collaborates with many creative environments.

Bob De Groof is a painter, collagist, engraver-printer, and photographer. He made assemblies, installations, street art and sculpted totem poles.
Exhibitions of his works have taken place in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United States. Over the years, he has exhibited some 40 times individually and has taken part in around 50 group exhibitions. His work can be found, among others, in collections from countries as diverse as the United States, Russia and Morocco.

In May 2007, as part of the « 101% » operation initiated by the Brussels-Capital Region (an operation that dates from the end of the 90s and which aims to decorate public places with various works of art), the artist Marin Kasimir realized a long fresco of 200 meters on a height of 50 cm in the courtyard of social housing « Le Marbotin ». This « fresco in bloom », illuminated at night, represents the cherry trees of Japan, one of the symbols of the town, as well as a succession of panoramic images of Schaerbeek.

Voka, born 1965, lives and works in the Lower Austrian town of Puchberg am Schneeberg. He coined the term « Spontaneous Realism » as a trademark for his art. Voka defines this style as a revival of the significance of contemporary art, a valued tradition in a new era, with a new interpretation reflecting today ́s spirit of the time. His distinctive style, emerging from the dynamic of the moment, enables him to strikingly capture immediate reality while the observer is able to palpably feel the imbedded movement. His ability to create one of his paintings in a short space of time and with great dynamic, he explained in a very simple way ́I have dealt with painting for a very, very long time in a very slowly and intensively way. The basis of his artistic creations is rooted in a decade-long altercation with the art of realism. He researched the technique of the old masters and appropriated them into his own intensive self-study. It was his first contact with watercolour that made him realise that working quickly – which he was almost forced to do when working outside as the colours dry so quickly – could give his stroke more momentum and therefore enormous dynamic. With the discovery of acrylic he was able to allow his solid basic knowledge of, not only the meticulousness and ‘heavy-art’ of oil painting but also the ‘light’ and rapid technique of watercolour painting, to flow together to discover and develop his own style of Spontaneous Realism.

Vinita Dasgupta is an upcoming contemporary Indian painter born to a Bengali family, sometimes known as ‘The Story teller’, and today considered an important woman painter of 21th century India, whose name stands at par with that of the other talented artists of India; she is also one of the ‘most expensive’ woman painter of India.

She spent most of early childhood in different states. Parents guided her by critiquing her work since childhood and gave her an academic foundation to grow on. they also instructed her to use common people as models. She has also learnt classical singing and dancing. In 1998 her family moved to New Delhi for higher studies, soon began learning painting and fashion designing professionally. Though she was already painting since the age of five she formally started learning painting at age eighteen. She completed Masters in Fine Arts from College of art ,New Delhi in 2008, and working as an independent galleries with national and international galleries and curators.

Master Seikan Hashizume, born July 1943. Establishes the Hashizume Style of Ai Yuzen and has been working in the Kyoto Yuzen world over 30 years. Master Hashizume’s work combines two japanese Dying Methods together in what is a truly very sophisticated way. His masterful mixing of these processes allows him to achieve works of unequaled beauty. The two methods are : Ai (Indigo Dying) Yuzen(Hand Painting or resist Dying Techniques) He began after 10 years to develop his own unique style of indigo in combining these traditional Japanese techniques to create extraordinary pieces. Master Hashizume uses exclusively Tadeai Japanese indigo Master Hashizume is from the Tendai Buddhist school of Japan created by Saicho who was the disciple of Kobo Daishi (Kukai). Master Hashizume lost is son just after the art director of the Cyrique’s art collection ask him if he would create an artwork based on the Hashizume Style of Ai Yuzen. Not only Master Hashizume accepted to do an artwork but he said the artwork helped him from the recent lost of his son.
